The MS Series Indexers VS The EZ Series Indexer
The MS series is designed to operate independently of an existing PLC control system. This allows indexing setup through the included HMI.
The EZ series is meant to be installed and integrated into a system with an existing PLC control system.
MS Series Indexers
The MS Series indexer is a high precision, highly flexible servo indexer designed to work independently of an external PLC control system. Available in five standard models and dozens of sizes, the simple to install MS Series can handle loads from grams up to tens of thousands of pounds, with dial diameters from 4 1/2” to over 60”. MS Series indexers can be fitted with brake motors, secondary gear sets, custom tooled dial plates, and machine bases.
All MS Series Indexers are available with Centricity’s highly flexible Drive/Control Package. This package includes the servomotor, digital AC servo controller with multiple field bus capabilities (networking), absolute position feedback, touch screen pendant (no programming required), and M-Series software. M-Series software contains simple to use functions such as dynamic home adjust, extensive fault recovery routines, simple indexing, basic rotate, teach mode set-up, and dwell torque functions, configurable user output(s), and many others.
